I'll be portable this weekend, Sat 28th & Sun 29th. I won't have internet access. Lets hope for some props to work.
Radio- RCI 2970. Antenna - 1/2 wave vertical.
I'll be working the 11m band, with no particular frequency, just dialing up & down the band to find active frequencies.

Will be going back out to the property Thursday 3rd July afternoon after work for a weekend of 11m DXing. Will be back in town Monday afternoon. I'll be off line for the period of time. Hopefully there will be some pics of the 4 element dual drive yagi up in the air.

BRING ON THE PROPS
There had better be some props this weekend, Fri 11 to Mon 14. The 4 ele yagi is up. This weekend the 3 ele quad will be put up, in the vertical polarization position.
Lets hope for some QLD props, Dan. It would be great to say g'day to ya. _________________ 43SE144, Pete.

Hi Dan & Pat, tnx for your replys.
Pat, this is the weekend in 43 div time, so you mite have to subtract 10 hours, m8. I hope to be set up late Friday afternoon, if not, it'll be early Saturday morning. Will be packing up late Sunday afternoon.
Dan, lets hope for some props up your way. I haven't heard Qld for a few days now, the props have been from the southern states, around Tas & Vic. Although I heard Broken Hill the other afternoon, very unusual to hear NSW from NSW.
I'll be trying out a new DX spot, not far from the home QTH. I'll still be camping out. The good thing is I'll have 240VAC, for my power, so I'll be taking the 40amp power supply. (the 2970 needs it, hihihi) Will only have room in the car for the little 6m (20 ft) mast & the 1/2 w vertical.
